Midginbil Eco Resort Wedding Photographer – my debut at this breathtaking venue was an adventure from start to finish. Unforeseen rain dampened plans for the ceremony under the magnificent fig tree. However, spirits remained high, and opportunities for capturing unique moments emerged amidst the showers.

Even though the clouds thickened, obscuring our initial vision, we embraced the challenge. We seized every break in the weather to immortalised Anthea and Steven against the backdrop of Mt Warning, NSW. The resulting photographs exuded a raw, natural beauty, perfectly reflecting ‘them’ amidst the lush greenery and rolling hills.

Anthea and Steven radiated tranquility and joy throughout their wedding day, embracing the unpredictable elements with grace and laughter. Their ceremony, punctuated by rain showers, felt serendipitous, a testament to the magic of the moment.

Special mention goes to Renee from Help Me Hitch. Renee’s remarkable efficiency and calm demeanour ensured that every aspect of the day flowed seamlessly. Because of her, the change of plans were flawless. And then this allowed everyone to stay calm.

On the way to photos, we drove past the cows as they grazed peacefully nearby. This added a touch of rustic charm to the day. It was quickly evident that Midginbil Eco Resort offers a truly unique setting for a wedding photos. The rugged beauty of Northern NSW provided the perfect backdrop for this relaxed and intimate celebration.

Anthea and Steven’s did not have a bridal party. Instead, they choose to spend their photography time together reflecting on the day. They did this amidst the misty hills and verdant landscapes. Stacey and I definitely had fun as Midginbil Eco Resort Wedding Photographers… dodging cow poo and carrying an umbrella and two cameras … a struggle that all wedding photographers understand. It was an honour to be a part of their special day, and I would love to capture more love stories at Midginbil Eco Resort in the future.
