I picked up a camera professionally back in 2005, but it was in 2010 that weddings became my real focus — and I haven’t looked back since. Across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tweed Coast and the hinterland, I’ve now photographed hundreds of ceremonies, from barefoot beach weddings to black-tie estate affairs.

Weddings move fast, and most of the best moments aren’t planned — they just happen. My job is to be ready for them: close enough to catch the small stuff, out of the way enough that you forget I’m there. When a photo does need a little direction (a group shot, a tricky bit of light), I’ll step in and guide you — but only when it actually helps.

I’ve been doing this a long time now — long enough to read a room, adjust for terrible midday light without anyone noticing, and know when to hang back versus when to gently take charge. Every wedding is different, but my approach stays the same: calm, organised, and focused on making the day feel easy rather than staged.

My style sits somewhere in the middle — documentary-style coverage with just enough gentle direction that you look and feel like yourselves, not like you’re posing for a stranger.
Editing stays clean and true-to-colour, so the photos still look like your wedding in ten years, not like whatever filter was trendy the year you got married.
